TERMS
Terms of service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Dupes, including dupes.sh and our hosted apps (the “Service”). The Service is provided by BRAIN TRUST PRIVATE LIMITED, a Singapore company (UEN 202416698H) (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you use the Service for an organisation, you agree for it. These terms limit our liability. The open-source code is licensed separately under its own licence; these terms cover our hosted Service and website.
1. Your workspace
- You must be at least 16, and give accurate information.
- You’re responsible for keeping your workspace and admin keys secure, and for everything done with them. We can’t recover lost keys.
2. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send spam, harass or deceive anyone, distribute malware, or interfere with the Service, its security or other users. When you import data from another service, you must have the right to move it, including your users’ personal data. We decide, in our reasonable judgement, whether a use breaks these rules.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display it as needed to provide and secure the Service. Content on public boards is public. You confirm you have the rights to submit your content. We don’t have to monitor content, but we may remove any content at our discretion.
4. Our rights
We and our licensors own the Service, the Dupes name and our trademarks. Your rights in the open-source code come from its licence. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely without obligation to you.
5. Price
The hosted Service is currently free. If we add paid plans, we’ll show the price before you buy.
6. Changes, suspension and termination
- We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service, including free hosted apps and the demo, at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your access, or delete a hosted app, at any time, including if we believe you’ve broken these terms or your use creates risk for us or others.
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
- Sections 3, 4 and 7 to 10 survive termination.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that your content will be preserved. Keep your own copies. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from or relating to the Service or these terms, however caused. Our total liability for all claims arising from or relating to the Service or these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can’t be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Indemnity
You’ll indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms or the law.
10. General
- Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here and update the date above. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Transfer. You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them to an affiliate or a successor.
- Whole agreement. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver. No third party has rights under these terms.
